Midland Code 7 cast lead flashing: heavy-duty weatherproofing for demanding roofing details
Midland Code 7 is the heaviest-grade machine-cast lead flashing in the standard range, with a 3.15mm thickness and a nominal weight of 35.7 kg/m². Manufactured by Midland Lead from 100% recycled raw materials and certified to BBA Certificate No. 86/1764, it is built for applications where greater structural mass and long-term creep resistance are required.
The precision machine-casting process produces a clean, non-oily finish that is ready to install in all weather conditions, with no preparation required before fitting. A single coat of patination oil after installation is all that is needed to protect the surface from staining over its 100-plus year service life. CE marked to EN14783 and approved by the NHBC, Code 7 is suitable for flat roofing, pitched roofs, vertical cladding, parapet gutters, box and tapered valley gutters, bay tops, canopies and dormers.
