Code 6 milled lead flashing is produced at 2.65mm thick with a nominal weight of 30.1 kg/m², making it one of the heavier-duty codes in the milled lead range and well suited to demanding roofing applications. Manufactured from 100% recycled raw materials and certified to BS 12588, it carries the CE mark BS EN 14783 and is approved for use by the NHBC. Individual flashing pieces must not exceed one metre in length to prevent thermal expansion and contraction issues, and regularly spaced expansion joints must be incorporated throughout. Code 6 is suitable for flat roofing, pitched roofs, vertical cladding, hip and ridge flashing, parapet, box and tapered valley gutters, pitched valley gutters, bay tops and canopies, apron and cover flashings, chimney flashings and dormers.
